MEET THE FOUNDER
Cecelia Fraser
I started Sonder & Media with one belief: marketing works best when it feels like a real conversation - not a broadcast, not a performance, and not a content calendar somebody filled for the sake of filling it.
I'm a social media strategist, marketer, and content producer based in Surrey, BC, and I genuinely love this work. Not in a trite "passionate about helping brands thrive" way - in a real way. My parents are business owners, and because of them, I grew up with a deep and abiding respect for how hard business owners work. I know small and mid-sized Canadian businesses are the backbone of this country Economically, socially, and ethically. The people building them deserve to be seen, and they deserve marketing that actually reflects how good they are at what they do.
The businesses I work with are often the best-kept secret in their industry. My job is to fix that.

WHAT DOES 'SONDER' MEAN?
sonder definition - noun.
The realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own — populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness — an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you'll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.
